I will have to find the article, but there is some type of Lunar Eclipse tonight between 9:30 and 10:00 pm EST tonight. They say that it is so rare, that the next one won't be for 300 years. It should be awesome to see. It should last for 15 mins or so. Unfortunately, they say that the following states will be unable to view due to weather forecasts. They are as follows: Alaska, Colorado, Delaware, Kansas, Ohio and New Mexico.

Least some of you guys will get to see it :grumpy:

Do not trust this KnifeAddictAK person. ;) He only has his hogginess in mind.

I'll be "Mooning" at 9:30 to 10:00pm EST, see if you can see it.

It's truly amazing that this rare eclipse is occurring at the exact same time as the Mini EU-17 offering!! ;) :D

I just thought of something. The Mini EU-17 are slated to come up between the same hours that this eclipse is supposed to happen. Anyone ever considered that KAAK only wanted you away from your computer and out with a telescope? The thing about it not happening for another 300 years is sort of strange as an astronomical event such as this would certainly be in the papers and I have not seen anything....

Edited to add.... A friend of mine is an astrology nerd, I will ask him if he knows anything about this.

You've been reading to many conspiracy theories ;) The reason for it not being in the papers is cuz the scientists here in Alaska have a better viewing since we are further north and lets us see things closer :)

Peter... why would I ever cause someone to miss out on a LIMITED MILITARY OVERRUN that will NEVER BE AVAILABLE AGAIN? ;)

I would never joke about an eclipse :D

KAAK, If you know what I mean, I am not going to go buy a telescope right now. ;)

I checked with some friends, not good for your story. :D
