I cooked so many ribs last week I don't even need propane to cook anymore! I just cooked these without turning the grill on after the first minute. :D

Rendered pork powered, 25 PTU (pork thermal units)

Looking good, Daniel! I'm planing to grill some meat tomorrow as well. :D

It's 93 degree here today...HOT!!!

:D Sounds good!

I took a bunch of pics but couldn't capture the flames, it was outta control!

93, wow! I was freezing this morning, lol... I still have a tiny snowdrift by the side of the house and can't wait for summer!

What knife you gonna use on the pork, I'm curious!

Massive 3' cleaver! I need pics...

:D The pork ribs fell apart when I took them off the grill so no knife. I did keep my Backpacker nearby for bear and kitty protection.

I'm going to eventually make some more Chef's knives, a less tall Chef's style would be nice for BBQ.

That's why I love pork ribs when they gets really tender!! Okay...I might do it tonight! :D

Chef's knife sounds good, something that can cut through the bone with out knowing it!! =))

Hmm, its 93 up here in NorCal as well. Gonna grill some Boca Burgers in a few minutes. They really need to come up with an 8 pack of beer, or maybe a 10 pack. I won't feel so bad for kiling a 12 pack tha way.

Rendered pork fat, glad to see you not letting that go to waste!

But seriously, what's the deets on the cleaver? length, width, etc? Pix too?

The massive one was a gift, I'm keeping it as a wall hanger but need to beef up my walls. :D I need pics, it is so big they are hard to get!

I have an 18" Cleaver designed, right now it is on the back burner as folders are getting started soon but I want to do a small run.

cool. let me know when you're ready to do a run of those, looking to add a cleaver to the kitchen.

Will do, folders are next but if I get enough interest I can make some cleavers soon!

I still wish I was a chef sometimes, I would love to show up to work with an 18" cleaver! :D

No Kidding! Nobody in the kitchen would give you shit with one of those in your hands!

Exactly! :D

It would have a very practical use for breaking down game and big cuts of meat. I would make beef stew with mine and carry the cut meat/veg on the knife itself! Back when I cooked I used one a lot. At 18" it would be a great hatchet or battle device.
