I'm the "knife guy" at work, everyone knows if they need to have something cut, trimmed, modified, or anything requiring a good sharp bit of steel, that I'm the go to guy, if they need to borrow a blade (Opinel #8 loaner, kept scary sharp), or if they need their blades or scissors (inexpensive Gerbers, or no-name stamped steel jobbies, generally cheap crap) I'm the one to see....

They're all familiar with the Buck 110, and all impressions of my FG model has been positive, the one consistent complaint? It's too heavy...

So far, every one of my NKP co-workers I've handed my 110 Eco to, to inspect have consistently said the same things
This is a great knife, balance is good, nice and light, nice blade shape
The handle is PAPER? It feels so solid....
Recycled paper? Even cooler, how tough is it though....

All have expressed interest in where to get one, and all have expressed confusion as to why the ecolite is being discontinued....

It seemed like such a winning design, glad I have mine, such a great EDC blade deserves to stay in production.....

I was a little concerned about the long term durability and solvent resistance of the PaperStone scales, afraid their durability could be compromised by some of the solvents we use at work, I did a little searching and found THIS

Basically, my fears are unfounded, it's some tough stuff
