Hi guys... Been lurking a bit and getting used to the feel of my waved, Green-T Commander. I have to say that it was worth every penny. I used to think that "the wave" was more of a crutch or a novelty than anything else. Boy was I wrong! When you get the hang of it, you can deploy the blade quite handily (if you'll forgive the pun.)

At any rate, I would like to purchase another knife and I am trying to raise some funds. It is the "Keep Dave in Edged Tools" Charity. Feel free to make any donations.
Anyway, to raise these funds, I want to sell my old Titanium Mission MPK. I know how the Usual Suspects are about their blades and I thought that I might find someone here who would be interested. If this is inappropriate, please let me know. I don't want to be causing problems under another man's roof.

Good luck on your fund.

Back some time ago it was agreed that folks could post their custom production and custom Emersons for sale here as this is really the largest market of Emerson buyers on the Net that I am aware of. Posting other makers production knives to fund Emerson purchases . . . . Ehhhhhhh, that may be stretching it a tad.

On the other hand several other custom knives have been pointed out and even advertised here that were of particular interest to the Suspects . . . . Steve Ryan's knives come immediately to mind.

But . . . . You bring up a broader point that needs to be hashed out soon. And I hope you'll forgive the slight change of subject.

Soon, very soon, Bladeforums is going to charge to post knives for sale. Our "Arrangement" may interfere with the overall plan of operation Spark is heading towards.

Basically I see we have two choices (but if anyone has any others, throw them in).

1) Stop posting Emerson products (or any other makers knives for that matter) in the discussion area.

or

2) A "Gentleman's Agreement" that only Person's who are premium members, and could post in the FS section anyway, be allowed to post Emerson Knives for sale on this forum.

As I understand it, all members, paying or not will be able to cruise the FS section, but only paying members will be able to post ads. Am I wrong here?

Personally, I would like to see option #2 as I like the idea of the Suspects getting first crack over the unwashed masses.

Thoughts Guys?

Yeah John... You're probably right. However, should anyone care to make a generous donation to my favorite charity I'll graciously accept.

In all seriousness, I moved my post over to the for sale (production fixed blades) forum along with pictures. That is probably the more appropriate locale for this.
