ECOP? Trusted Spyderco Dealer?

Here is a link to all the trusted dealers here at BF-http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1089879-Paid-Dealer-Members-List. Is ECOP a ebay dealer? If so be vary careful, plenty of folks have been scammed by ebay. I trust ebay about as much as my dog to not eat a hotdog that rolled off of my grill. You get the same results too, vomit in your lap. At least that's what it feels like when you get a fake:D

Always been okay in my dealings with him and that is with knives and other items.!** If it is a fake I am sure he would exchange if that were the case.*

They are legit. Ebay is great, one of the best site for online purchasing thank to the ominmus feedback systeme. Vendors like them are top notch, not too much to worry about there.

I have ordered several items from them and always had great service.

Mastifhound shouls be put on a chain, don't badmouth unless its your own experience!that happens all too often!

I didn't "badmouth" ecop. I badmouthed ebay. The general consensus here last time I checked is to be wary and taking an chance for $5 off of a knife just doesn't make sense. When I became a member here I was told that recommending non contributing dealers on BF was a big no-no, hence my posting of the paid dealers list. How many times has a thread been posted about ebay and fakes?

I wrote something colorful about ebay but nothing about ecop. When I asked about Amazon in my first or second post I was told rather quickly that doing so wasn't kosher. I'm honestly surprised a mod hasn't come along and said something?

There's a list of authorized dealers on spydercos site. You can reference sellers with that.

I'm with you Mastifhound, epray is too much of a risk. The big river store ain't much better either.

Over 210 negative feedbacks on ebay this month alone. I think they got hacked and are hunkering down for the time being. I ordered from 28 items from them, and for the first six items, all I received was a tiny plastic envelope with a single nail. I can't get to a real person by e-mail or phone, and I don't have enough nails to send back for a full refund. I ordered from ecop before with no problems, so chart your own course.

That's the problem with those big dealers on the auction site. Customer service is bare bones. No phone number. On the other hand, there are lots of buyer protections.
Support BF dealers!

Something funny here though. Suddenly he is selling bargain basement priced fishing lures and scamming people when he had a successful store for how long? doesn't make sense.

He could have sold his account. Someone offered to buy my account at one time. Heard they look for long time accounts with 100% feedback.
