I got bitten by the watch bug about 2 years ago. My first automatic was a Black Monster, great watch, but after getting a Seiko 007, and particularly a 6309-7040 (not to mention a 009 and a SOXA built off a Seiko Rally Diver case), I really just haven't worn it much. So, I sold it off and for about $10 more than I sold the BM for, I purchased a LNIB titanium Citizen Ecozilla from a cool guy who works with the US military in Germany. This is a COOL watch. SO huge, yet the Ti case really makes it light. The only real downside is that to run straps other than the included rubber one, I need to buy some of Walt's adapters and aftermarket retaining ring, to the tune of $100! That's not much less than I bought the watch for! lol

Here's what one looks like, but I don't have any pics of the actual one I own. They all look the same, lol

I wear the SS version of the same watch...I LOVE the 'Zillas!...They are VERY accurate, and the Eco-Drive takes all the worry out of a dead battery...

I'm usually an automatic guy... with the exception of my Luminox "Navy SEALs" watch, and my wind-up Marina Militare, all my watches are autos. It sure is nice to not have to set it, shake it, put it on my watch winder, wind it, etc etc etc etc.

The thing about the Internet (good and bad) is that if you look around you'll find something negative about everything you own. Ecozilla? Mine was crap. Seiko? Mine busted. Gibson Les Paul? Piece of junk. Golden Retrievers? Pee in the house. And so on and so forth. Hopefully mine won't have these problems.

These people do have allot of experience and watches.

Their opinion and that of Citizen is just keep it charged and it is better on the capacitor.

I only have one Eco-Drive and it has been reliable.

My collection, I have a small amount of experience also.

Thanks for posting that picture. Now I feel a whole lot better about my (considerably smaller!) ever growing "collection" of watches!
