Ed Caffrey EBK

I recently ordered an "EBK" model from Ed Caffrey and received it today.

It is WONDERFUL! Small utility knife, 6.25" OAL, 2.5" edge, stabilized maple scales, SS pins & thong hole. Differentially treated 1084 with a magnificent temper line. Came with kydex sheath set up for horizontal carry.

I think it is very gracious for a Master Smith to make high quality utility pieces when he could be spending his time filling orders for exotic art knives (I'm still working my way up to those

).

I should also mention that Ed was extremely pleasant to work with and provided constant updates on progress and shipping.

Nice knife! I have been checking his site trying to catch one of the available EBKs. I agree it is great for a mastersmith to make nice users at a very reasonable price.
