EDC 1 of 500?

Just received my new Camillus EDC in 154CM plain edge, and immediately used it to cut up the box it was shipped in. I've only had it for a couple hours, but it seems to be just perfect for my uses.

I was surprised to see "1 of 500" etched onto the blade since I haven't seen any pictures of this knife with any sort of series markings besides the Anniversary. Is this anything significant, or do all of the 154 CMs have it?

i think all of them say '1 of 500'
i was hanging with some friends at blade,and someone showed me one,and i had the same reaction you did,until i was informed that all of em from the particular production run say that.
