I received one of these today, and I must say I'm most impressed. For a relatively inexpensive DR designed production knife, this is a good looking, well made tool. That brings me to my quandry....

I'm looking for your knowledgeable opinions here. Essentially, should I carry this knife or not? I have plenty of knives that I carry in rotation (and some I don't), and I can pick up an "Enhanced EDC" if this Anniv. Lt. Ed. will appreciate in value. Will this knife's value depreciate, hold steady or appreciate if it's not carried?

Plz subject line your initial responses (for tracking purposes) with CARRY or DON'T CARRY. Thanks, and I look fwd to your responses and assistance.

Carry.

I suspect that the value of this knive may increase, but I am sure that it will be a long time into the future.

I purchased one to carry because it was such a nice looking knife, its has stood up well and looks nearly new.

I dont believe in owning a knife that cannot be used, so I would say carry it.

I knife that doesn't get used, has never fulfilled its true destiny. Use that baby!!!!

Thanks to those that responded, it did help me in this decision. I'm hanging on to the Anniv. Edition, but it may someday get carried. One of my favorite dealers offered me a nice price on some "enhanced EDC's" (thanks Dennis!). I intend to keep & USE one of those and give one to each of my boys. I plan on having their names and the year engraved in the handles, as these will be their first decent locking folders and I want them to be as memorable as my first one was.

The Anniv. Edition will be set aside. Maybe someday I'll need the cash, or perhaps it will become my daughter's!
