I got my EDC from the last run of EDC's on Thursday, stamped #6. It was love at first sight. I ordered it with 3/4" extended on each end, something I have been lusting over for about a year. I must have 4 different microsoft paint versions of how the EDC would look extended on each end. I also ordered it with a kydex sheath. I could not be happier with the sheath! It's my second favorite feature of the knife, first being the handle. The handle is what really blew me away. My index finder sits right in the groove and the extra length really eliminates any hot spots. Anyway, this has become one of my favorite knives. It's small enough to carry on any adventure, yet large enough to handle just about anything I could throw at it. I am thinking I will have to order another version of this with a semi wharncliff blade shape.

One of the main reasons for ordering the extended EDC (which I have been calling the EDC-X on all my "to buy" lists) was to get a fixed blade with similar dimensions as my large sebenza, which has been my primary EDC for 2 years.

Thanks John!!!!!!!!

Very nice!

I like the feel of the JK canvas micarta too - it has a nice texture that keeps the knife from slipping when wet, a big plus.

That Anniversary EDC ++ is the archetypal JK - very classic in it's line - congratulations on owning a very fine one-off JK!

best
