I keep a Victorinox SwissCard Lite in my wallet. Great little tool!

The Tool Logic cards are also excellent.

I've noticed the tools logic cards are cheaper than the swiss army cards, are they of the same quality?

In addition to my Leatherman Surge, SAK soldier/spartan, and my small fixed blade, I carry a Vic Swisscard Lite in my wallet. Great for those "Oh $%(#! I need a pen/pin/tweezer/etc!" moments when you might not have anything on you except your wallet.
Welcome, by the way:)

I am also looking for a credit card multi tool. I used to have a Victorinox Swiss Card Lite but my sister took it away from me :grumpy:

so how does a Tool Logic Tool Lite II Deluxe compare to the Swiss Card Lite? Also, how good is the SOG access card?

I'd say the Victorinox cards are somewhat better, but that should not be taken as a slam on Tool Logic. Both are quite good.

EDC = Every Day Carry

Hey, I posted that. :D

We need a term dictionary. and not in the FAQ.

I've owned 3 swisscards and all I have to say about them is that I never lost the tweezers; and they are better than nothing.

I stopped carrying them because my wallet wore out that much faster.

How tough is the Victorinox SwissCard Lite? It looks rather delicate.

The plastic is a lot tougher than it looks. You could certainly break it, but it is designed to allow some bend. The tools themselves are small but well made. Overall it is a light-duty tool, but not a fragile one.

I know we're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but this tool says flimsy and cheesy to me. Thanks for correcting my first impressions.

How well will the swiss card hold up in a back pocket wallet? I would think that sitting on it just right would snap it in half. Of course, it probably also bulks up a wallet enough so that you wouldn't want it in your back pocket?

"Also, how good is the SOG access card?"

I baught one, plain edge.
Good quality, i managed to have it nearly razor sharp.

main problem come from the fact that i was expecting it to be really thin, which was not the case due to the button of the lock (kindda "axis lock")...
So at the end i give it to a friend for his birthday and he was quite happy with it!:D

Spydercard is thinner so i am thinking about buying one...

The Spydercard is brilliant. Thin, well made, terrific fit and finish, lock up solid. Closed it looks very innocent. Open it is a threat. I've carried (right rear pocket) a plain edge model, $20 at some arms show, for many years in a very small (maybe the smallest) leather wallet without issue. No rust, bust or corrosion.

It has a slippery finish so one-hand opening and closing takes deliberation. With the handle firmly in hand you get a solid grip when the card is open.

Over-all a good piece of kit. I don't think I ever once used it. Easy to carry so easy to forget you have it. Comforting, like a motorcycle in the garage, it is there on the ready line.

Best,

oregon

Same here for the Spydercard  Have it as a constant companion in my wallet. It serves very well as a folding knife when opened.

I've carried mine in my wallet for quite a while now with no problems. There is no way you could break break a SwissCard by sitting on it.

I love my SpyderCard too, but I finally stopped carrying it because of the bulk and weight. The SwissCard is less than a third of the weight and perceptibly less thick.

If you want a full-service folder in your wallet the SpyderCard is unsurpassed. I've opted for more of an emergency backup with the SwissCard.
