They make a great EDC even though they are a bit on the thick side.

I just purchased one from New Graham and I really like it. I like the Micarta on one side and Black G-10 on the other. Just has a really nice feel as an EDC...very solid and sharpened like a razor. I was also looking at the Black Micarta Kopa but went with the Viele because the blade is a little longer.

I handled one through a passaround and it's a great knife. It has a really nice heft, good ergonomics, and it opens about as smooth as you're ever going to find in a production knife. It cuts well too. I don't you'll be disappointed if you buy one.
I never remember the model names of the knives I buy. I do have the above knife, but not sure if it's a II ? The one I have has a full serrated blade, and does operate very smoothly. The styling is unique to Veile. I also like the heft of it. The serrations are great for cutting up cardboard.Sharpening the one sided tip edge is a bit tricky.
