Hello All,
I've been saying I'd post some pics soon and here is a handful. These took forever to upload from our off-the-grid internet. I was going to post more but can't wait for them to upload. We have work to do!
Here's my wife's BK2 and my 5 chillin' on top of a juniper post in front of the garden. You can see our bomb-proof chicken coop in the back.

Here's Mrs. Survivormind's BK2 chillin' on a raised bed of corn.

Here's a close up of her 2. I call this the chops-everything patina around that coating that's been removed.

My 5 in the stock sheath. I made a pretty cool leather sheath for it but have to re-stitch the belt loop. I've been using the stock one instead. This is the wear and dirt from everyday carry for the last three months. It's held up better than I figured it would! It's actually worn a pretty good spot in all of my jeans. One of them tore open because it was weakened. Sheath 1. Jeans 0.

I put these micarta handles on my 5 about 3 or 4 weeks ago. They didn't fit as well as I expected out of the box but a little sandpaper and about 10 minutes of work made it better than it was.

The Patina on my 5. I call this the rum/margarita/PB&J/meat/bush-whacking patina.

Another sheath pic...

That's it for now. I'm hoping I'll have more time to post pics this winter and we also intend to participate in Moose's latest competition. See you all around!
