I really like your work, and this one in particular looks awesome

That looks like a good, solid working knife. Interesting effect with the grain in that ash, as well.

Todd

Thanks!

That's one of the resigns I like to use the ash. When stained the hard grain doesn't stain much (only a golden shade), but the soft rings stain nice and dark. Which gives the nice contrast you see in the pictures.

Thanks for looking,
Adam

Because of the gallery, I found another cool maker who makes knives the way I like! I really like the large trade knife. I have been really interested in older looking pieces like they were made in the old days. I like ML knives www.mlknives.com (Matt Lesniewski) in Hagaman, NY and I am just got the same kind of excitement about your site as I did on his. I will be a frequent return visitor to your site. All the best and keep making those great blades.

Thank you,

I really appreciate that! I've never owned one of Matt's knives but from what I have seen he is a very good knife maker.
You've got to like those older styled knives for at the very least there look and feel, not to even mention the history behind some of the designs.

Thanks again,
Adam

Thanks, I just ordered the trade knife from you this week. I have enjoyed looking at the past work page on your site. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. It was a pleasure working with you.

Awesome knife. Definately going down as one of my favorite styles. I just like the use of natural wood and the "rough finish" look on the blade. Makes it look more like a "real" knife than a showpiece, IMO.

Great looking knife. I also appreciate the older styles, but what catches my attention is the "hand forged" aspect.
That is an heirloom piece. Use it, hand it down to the Grandson!
