Hey! I look for a selfdefense EDC knife and I have some finalists.

1) Ka-Bar Dozier Hunter: Is lightweight, has awarded lock without bladeplay and good price 30€ (cheap)
2) S&W SWAT: fast assistand system, secondary lock, a little overpriced i think 60€ (secondary lock)
3)CRKT M16-13SFG tanto: fast opening, good grip, secondary lock i dont know if it has bladeplay but i dont think so the company says that is a 'virtual fixed blade'. 65 € (good grip, safety)

What do you say? I want good lock and fast opening. Suggest and other knives if you want but I cant pay up 70-80€ and i cant find many models.

What is a self defense EDC knife? Every day you get into self defense situations/knife fights?

If you are looking for a self-defense knife, and you have not been trained in any particular type of knife-based self-defense, then any knife is going to be just as ineffective (or effective) as any other. So. All three are equally good/bad for self-defense.

If you want a good, all purpose EDC knife to cut things with....I really like my Kabar Dozier Hunter.

I mean a EDC knife who can use for self defense if needs.

I havent military trained but i know some basic things, i dont look for a tanto, karambit ... a purely fighting knife.
