I tried to change up my EDC the last 2 days going from a Spyderco Tenacious to a Benchmade Mini Ambush man I miss my Spyderco..lol There is such a big difference in Spyderco knifes than any other knife brand they just fit so nice in hand and do a great job at cutting tasks. So from now own I will only carry Spyderco no other knife.

Thanks Spyderco for your great products

Amen.

I have a few Kershaws [chive, leek, ener-g] and although nice knives for edc, my Spydies ALWAYS kick them out of my pocket. Unfortunately I can't bring my self to save money for any other knives other than Spyderco either...

Does this mean im addicted to spyderco? hehe

In the last year, I managed to sell off all my other branded folders, and get Spydies instead. Now the problem is keeping the size of my collection under control!

It's the hole that does it for me (mostly). It makes opening the knife effortless, and easy on the thumbs.

I keep an open mind, and there are other knives that I like, but for the most part, it's Spyderco.

I have this problem (if you can call it that) all the time...Ive bought several new knives during the last year, a few of which were not spyderco knives, and, try as I might, I always seem to go back to my old standard spydero knives...especially the tenacious. It doesnt mean I dont want to get or use other brands, I just always gravitate back to my trusty spydercos because theyre such great knives.

I will echo ctk123 and agree that for me its the spydie hole, I am so used to opening my folders the spydie way that whenever I have to use a thumbstud it feels weird. Besides, spydie innovation, design & warranty- I have no reason to complain.

You've got to at least try the Military (drool...).
The handle on that knife is immaculate.

Yeah, I've tried to buy knives of other brands.... But they just can't seem to match the designs of Spyderco. Nice knives they are, I'm sure, but it's just knowing how a Spyderco knife was built that makes me say "I'd rather go with the Spyderco."

I started with a spyderco standard in 1991,..been swayed by a few kershaws and benchmades since then...now carry a modified Tenacious.

Once in...always in.

I've been giving my non-Spydies as gifts. There are a few I still prize, but 80% of what I own are Spydercos.

I'm switching between my Manix 2 in s90v abd my new Emerson Mini Commander with the serrations. Both are great knives. If I had to honestly make a one or the other choice I'd be really hard pressed.

I think I only purchased two other knives, Camillus/Becker BK11 and Swisstool Spirit, since my first spyderco (Native) a couple years back... Although my spydie collection is up to 7 :D

I have run the folder gamut!! The P-Mil always comes back to clip onto my pocket. ;)

So far, only Benchmade has stood a lasting competitor to Spyderco in terms of locking folder interest. Kershaw deserves a very notable mention, but it's not quite up there.

I for one really like the endura 4 wave. You get the spydie hole and wave feature combined with just under a 4" blade and weighs only 3.6 oz.Also the blade is vg-10 steel.
