I got tired of just throwing all my Edc stuff on my dresser at home and decided to get a little organized for a change much to the delight of my wife. Found this online last week and looked like just what I was looking for. Has 2 compartments fits just about everything I need they cut a notch into the side for a phone charging cord. Added a little class to my dresser plus everytime I open it, she puts a smile on my face. :D

I was gonna say "you bought a cigar box??" that things pretty extensive though, good thinkin.

Can I buy the box without having to smoke all the cigars?

The cigar shops used to give them away. Now they charge a couple bucks for the empty boxes. Just drop by a cigar store and ask. Maybe they'll give you one.

The EDC wood storage box looks good. I am also a fan of cigar boxes for odds and ends.

Buy a cigar box and get a blonde or a brunette? Woo hoo! Sign me up! Oh wait, you just meant the picture? :grumpy:

Good idea for the storage of odds and ends. I think my wife would like your idea

Get both, then you will have a blonde and a brunette. Dont think the wife even noticed her Im not saying a word.

Go to a cigar shop and see if they have any empty boxes. I got a free one when I went to Chicago from Ditka's because the top was a little warped. The hostess said they usually sell them, but couldn't sell this one because of the warping in the lid. Which was slight.

Think I'll pass at $50.

I can understand but the way I think about it we spend a lot of cash on our gear might as well have someplace to store it . I know there's cheaper ways to do it but it's a one time purchase my kids Will still be using this when I'm long gone.

This is true IF it is used for a while and then placed in some closet or drawer filled with nick knacks like one might do with a cigar box that most people don't associate a lot of value. When I was a little kid, I kept all my "important stuff" in a cigar box or two. Still have those and I smile when I see them as I know I used them when I was probably 6 or 7. Even that age, I was already a hoarder with a stash. :)

Pretty sure that a lot of us are guilty of being hoarders trying real hard to break that habit really I am? :D
