Here is one I made on my old Craftsman, finished it up before coming back to the US.

S110V steel HT by Peters' with LVA Carbon fiber and red g10 liners. Titanium pin and lanyard tube as well as a hardened steel hidden pin. This one was hand polished to 2000 grit, and while not a true mirror looks good.

Kydex sheath.

Very nice. Looks like it would be a good user. I like your choice of materials.

Thanks guys. I have noticed a few issues with CA finish on the handle, so this one will be getting re-sanded to address those issues. I have found that, where CA fails, automotive clear coat seems to fit the bill to bring out the chatoyance (3d effect) that carbon fiber is known for.

I see the chatoyance in the swirls on the handle, but understand what you are talking about and where you are coming from. Interested to see the release of the final product again. Also will be curious to know how it holds up over time.

I have used clear coat on CF grips I make for 1911 pistols and they seem to hold up pretty well.

Doesn’t seem like anyone is catching it, but I sure did. 2000 grit on S110v is an Herculean task, and shows remarkable tenacity. And maybe even a little crazy. Ask me how I know! :p

Nice work!
