EDC Combo

Trying to decide on which combo to EDC. Which one would you carry and why?

The Rambler was on my keychain for years and I love and carry the Cadet often, so I voted for that.
I am testing the Alox Classic now and I also like the Signature Lite in that size..

My problem with Leathermans is that when I try to pull out a tool they all come out? The Tinker looks like a great choice, in theory I like the Compact a tiny bit more, but I don't have them.

I chose option 2, but I think a better option would be the cadet paired with a leatherman squirt.

I would advocate pairing a Tinker, or even a Spartan, with a Style PS. That gives you pliers, scissors, two blades, a nail file, an awl, and an assortment of screwdrivers. If you go with a Spartan and add the eyeglasses driver to the corkscrew, that replaces the Micra's fine screwdriver.

My choice would depend on where I’m going. Heading into town this would be a good combo. If I was going into the woods, I’d swap the Cadet for my Craftsman or Fieldmaster.

Perfect pair for EDC combo: new Surge and original Surge.



Original has pointer needle nose pliers, eyeglass screwdriver, and is fitted with the file. New model has stouter pliers with replaceable wire cutters and is fitted with saw blade. One is clipped to my left front pocket, and the other rides over my right hip in a Skinth holster with all the accessories. The weight is evenly distributed, so I don't walk in circles! If I can't do it with two Surges, it probably doesn't need to be done! T-A

My apologies to the OP. I missed the survey question in the beginning of this thread and answered inappropriately. While I like the Tinker, my distaste for the Micra is strong enough to make me choose the Cadet/Rambler. I must read more carefully in the future. T-A

Two that I always have close are a Recruit and MiniChamp and that's pretty to a Cadet/Rambler combo.
