What would you guys recomend for a good EDC blade? My main ideas were: Spyderco Endura 4, Benchmade 550hg, or a SOG Visionary 2. Do you have any other recomendations?

well im not sure what you are willing to spend and how big you can go, but i think the spyderco paramilitary or military would be a great EDC.

How will you use this knife?
How much money do you want to spend?
How good at sharpening are you?
Do you like bone, G-10, FRN?
Do you like the idea of a little fixed blade that can fit in your pocket?
Do you need/want a lock?
Would you like the blade to be stainless?
Do you pry with your knives?
Holes or studs?

I could go on and on, but we need more info :)

get one of the new Full flat ground Endura or delicas they are outstanding knives for the money. They are perfect for EDC I prefer my delica over my endura.

I vote Endura. Maybe a FFG colored one, why not. Reasons....

Affordable
Comfortable
Strong
Simple
Tried and true over the years
Ambidextrous

Benchmade 710-D2, Buck Vantage Pro and Syderco Endura 4 G-10. Or how about a Zero Tolerance ZT0350 or ZT0300.

A nice Japanese Katana would be your best bet. They come with great sheaths and are super sharp out of the shop.

That's what I did. I loved to carry it into grocery stores too, and they're not THAT heavy at all! i bought mine for $55 used on Ebay and it came sharp! I could chop an Apple in half in one swing!

If the SOG has the same system as the spec elite then it opens smoother than the others listed. The Spydeco however would be my pick since it offers more carry position option and a trainer is available for it.

spyderco sage or any of the smaller sized spydercos. just my opinion i dont like to lug around huge blades.
