Just curious to how everyone stores their edc knives. Tried looking it up on the search function to no avail.

Im simple. I just keep most of my stuff on the top drawer of my desk. Most of my tools and sharpener are hidden further in.
Lets see yours!

It looks like you have far too many knives and too few "D's" for the EDC.

You will have to either skip some days or load your pockets with knives.

This is an illness.

;)

Here is an old pic of what my knife drawer looked like months ago.
Probably almost half of those knives were traded for others. I'm in a constant state of flux with my collection.
I'll get a more updated pic up tomorrow when I can take another one.

Terrible pic, but you get the idea. It's one of the Plano bait caddies from the fishing section. It works fairly well because I store some of my edc lights and misc other knives in another one and they're stackable.

I thought about using one of these, but i feel like my knives would get lonely in there little cubicle....

I'm living vicariously thru them and enjoying the peace and quiet. I have 4 daughters and don't get any peace and quiet myself.

Minus the double cross. Add a Mini CQC 15 and an orange juice and I've got a Manix 2 waiting to be opened when I get home:D
Fixed blades are around, they don't like to be organized.

Well here's the answer to that- put each on in its cubicle with its companion.

This is another of those Plano tackle boxes, bought at WalMart. It will hold 16 larger knives, maybe you could even put 3 in each cubicle but that might get kinky. For smaller knives you could put in more dividers and hold up to 36 knives total. These are stackable, and Plano even makes cases that carry multiples of these boxes.

... In a safe, in an underground bunker, in a nondescript building, in an undisclosed location (and this baby is FULL to the max):

You should see my walk-in Gun Safe... hehehe!

For my collection, I use the Plano organizers already mentioned above, with cardboard strips between knives in the same compartment. My EDC knives reside on my cluttered desktop or on a bookshelf, depending on where I empty my pockets when I get home. Of course, it seems that lately, knives that were meant to go into the EDC rotation are instead ending up as part of the collection.

Here is my updated EDC drawer.
I have added a few more Ti framelocks and changed the Benchmades around some

Some in a drawer, some one the night stand, one in the bed sleepin with my Steyr M9, some in the kitchen. One in the car. I have knives and guns all over my apartment. No real rhyme or reason.

For the most part, I keep my EDC rotation stored along with the rest of my collection in these:

...which are stored in these:
