OK I'm going to get a 3 on my next go around.. I have yet to experience the linen micarta, all mine have canvas..

This knife will replace my hest for now, I'm on the fence about the color especially as an EDC.. for that reason I'm leaning Black, some reason it may be more sheeple friendly?? But I also have a couple others in DT.. Just wanted to ask you guys here what made you decide one over the other for edc?? how do you like linen over canvas..

and yes I will have another molle back.. :D

take care,

Rob

I like the linen!
I find it is soft and smooth, but still super grippy

It matters why?
I don't think you'll have many problems with sheeple. They generally will just run away. Don't worry about it too much.

no worries, just DT seems a little flashy, catch the eye etc.. no biggie maybe I'm just trippen..

would like some imput though to help sway my decision as I'm on the fence.. Its one or the other, I could toss a coin.. :)

just thought I'd hear out the madness before I made up my mind...

Personally I EDC an ESEE-4 in DT with Midnight Tiger scales from Dale.

God bless,
Adam

As a completely random aside; is it necessary to refer to people who don't understand our way of thinking as sheeple? I don't like it when they refer to me in a derogatory manner, I just don't see us winning any points with this move. (Just a quick thought and sorry for the interruption)

I edc my izula in DT. I have a 4 and 3mil in black and the black seems to show less scratches, if that matters to you.. I love both colors though.... good luck

if you like the canvas and black blade, is there a reason you aren't looking seriously at the 3mil?

You need to get an ESEE-3MIL like the above poster said.

I think it definitely blends in a bit more.....where a DT blade and handle set might stick out a bit. I EDC an ESEE-3MIL-S and it's great. I had the same reservations about the DT for an EDC knife.

generally speaking I don't, I merely thru that in there at no additional charge.. I could have easily said, general population/public but really didn't want to make this longer then it needed..
