Hello,
It needs to have a good heat-treat, come with a sheath, have a good blade steel, a non-wood handle, and a 3-4 inch blade for EDC. Suggestions?

I haven't been here much longer than you, do please don't take offense - it's often a good idea to use the search function before posting. This same question has been asked and answered a few times very recently.

Esee 3, 4, it Izula
Enzo Trapper
Dozier Personal
DPx HEFT4
BK11, 14, or 24
SRKW Rodent 3 or 4
Bark River (several models in that range)

You can also go with any of the makers that post in the knifemakers section of the classified.

At $300 get a custom Fletcher Knife or maybe even a Fiddleback! If you decide to go a little cheaper I highly recommend the ESEE 3 or 4. Let me know if you want comparison pics of anything!

No harm done - sometimes searches don't find what you want, and sometimes you might be looking for something different. I posted an image with a batch of my 3-4 inch blades in two of the other threads, it might help you at least get a feel for some of them.
(I think the Dozier Personal is an outstanding choice for EDC - mine is wood; but black micarta is the standard handle)
