I'm looking for a small, classy fixed blade for edc...something like the BRKT Mikro Canadian, but a little more value minded (around $50 or so). :o I've looked at the Woodswalker and I like it for the price, but I'm trying to keep my options open. I'm not necessarily looking for a neck knife, just a more traditional small fixed for back pocket carry in a leather sheath.

Any ideas?

I carry a Woodswalker while I'm fly fishing.....love it! For EDC....well, I dunno. I have a Keith Murr Little Companion I EDC, but it has a Kydex horizontal sheath making it bit less noticable under my belly fat. I did learn however, don't take the knife out of the Kydex if your belly fat is hanging, it'll pinch the crap out of you! You couldn't beat a Barkie if you can afford a bit more in your budget. I have one of their models just a tad bigger than the Micro Canadian and it's a great knife. Spend a few more bucks now and you'll never need another.....unless you're a knife knut like me!

You might want to see if you can find a Benchmade Activator. Its a small size, fixed blade suitable for EDC (5.5" overall with a 2.125" drop point blade made of durable D2 tool steel (60-62 HRC)).

Unfortunatly, I think its OOP, but you can still find them with a bit of searching for $60-70. ;)
