Looking for a custom EDC fixed blade, I like drop point blades and would like to stay under 7 inch total length. I really like the BM Activator but it only comes in D2 which im not really a fan of (too hard). Would really like s30v. Any suggestions on something I could carry on my person every day.
 
I can second Tom Krein's work, he's the man for small stock removal fixed blades. A Jerry Hossom dog tag is a great little carry knife if you can find them. Mike Snody has an active thread showing some nice small fixed blades right here in this forum.

if you want a small forged blade, ed caffrey and j neilson both seem to make a lot of 7" knives, and Burt foster has his new "dark side" edc knives which are awesome. Raymond Richard has been making some smaller carry pieces lately also. I'm sure I'm forgetting other obvious ones.

You might also try John Barker, he makes great EDC type knives in premium knife steels as well. You can find John here:

Not a drop point, but I'll have to second the recommendation of Burt Foster's Dark Side knives...a MS forged laminate or damascus at a stock removal price.

Mine should be here most any day now.
