I'm in the market for a fixed blade knife to edc. Just a med. sized fixed blade. No serrations!!! 4 inch blade max. Kydex sheath preferred.
$100 limit
Shoot me some ideas.

Quote myself from another thread:

Spartan balde Enyo has been on my belt for over a week now and I'm loving it.

It's just over 6" but this number can be deceiving, it certainly doesn't feel like a 6" blade, very compact and easy to conceal.
The swedge grind and multiple choke-up rests enable fine works and penetration.
beefy S30V but only 2 something ounces.

I've always prefer slightly larger EDC but the one I usually carry has double edge(illegal) so I swapped it for this Enyo, very happy with it.

Izula is also a great choice but I just can't get over its rather unassuming look.

Becker BK11, BK14 or ESEE Izula - something like that would be great. Add micarta scales to make a great knife even greater.

Beckerhead #42

Just adding alternatives:
- Buck Mayo Kaala
- Boker Miltner Adams series
- Boker Todd Begg series
- Boker VoxKnives

Theres the Swamp rat Swamp warden, Boker plus gnome, and the Esee Izula also theres the Becker BK14 Eskabar.

You won't find that for 100 bucks.

I'll suggest the usual fare. Izula, Izula II, Becker Necker, Becker Eskabar, Swamp Warden. Could probably find an Rodent Solution on the exchange for under a 100 too.

Izula or Izula II, you probably wont be disappointed

Ive never held a Becker but from what i've seen and read the sheaths are not actual kydex and they are kind of bad.

the ESEE 3 has a blade just under 4 inches if you want something bigger.
As others mentioned the izula is a great more compact fixed blade.
