EDC Fixed Blade

some of my favorite small fixed blades are the brkt little creek, izula or the minimalist. Theyre all pocket sized.

Little Creek or Izula for me, too. I've tried others, but I keep coming back to these two for an EDC FB.

I edc this Rick Hargis custom knife. OAL 7 inches

Izula, Blackjack 155, Spyderco Mule. Scrap Yard Scrapivore, Swamp Rat swamp warden. Blind horse knives have multiple options for ya as well. Hope this helps!

Becker BK11 or BK14 or ESEE Izula - something like that. I'm really digging this pocket sheath for my BK11 (or BK14 - heh) my daughter got me for Christmas. Very comfortable!

My EDC is now an ESEE Izula , because I made a smaller sheath that allows me to carry it IN my front pocket just like the pocket clip folder I used to carry .

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

Esee izula 2 is an excellent choice. I have been edcing it for about two weeks daily. Scrapyard Scrapivore is an excellent choice as well. Cheaper than the izulas better steel but not as comfy.

I've given the Izula II to my wife and 10 year-old daughter, because I didn't think a choil was a good choice for them, but I MUCH prefer the model 3 (way more knife IMO). I like to carry it on my belt but, if I need to, I stick it in one of my front pockets.

I have had several edc pocket fixed blades come and go; Bark River Mini Canadian, Landi PSK, Boker Pocket Bowie. I have found that for me, an overall length of 6 inches works best, as well as a fairly pointy tip for package opening.

In the mail today was an Alan Davis misery whip knife. Check his stuff out over in the makers' section of the Exchange. He makes them out of steel from antique misery whip crosscut saw blades with your choice of handle materials and sheath styles. This one fits in my KSF Adirondack pocket sheath like it was made for it.

Look up Helle Fjording knife blade, you could make a damn good edc knife with that. It's $20. All you need for the handle is a drill, the material you are going to use, and some epoxy. Very lightweight, good laminated carbon steel, and a great cutter. Make your own sheath and you have an edc knife that no one else has.
