I showed my mom my Entrek bravo 11 that I remade handles for and she made the comment that she would like something similar to carry. The Entrek has a 4 9/16 blade and I believe that VA has a 4in. length max. So I'm looking for something a little smaller. Also I'm looking for something that I'll be able to make the handles for.... you know for that special touch. I was thinking the Izula, but I'm not sure how easy rejandling that would be since I'm a novice. What do you guys think? Thanks!
 
Go On Ebay... Look Up Knife Blanks.
You Can Get A Blank Damascus Blade(Which She Will Think Is Pretty) For Cheap And Then Put A Nice Handle On It.
 
Thanks for the Damascus links... but I'd prefer ss or good carbon ... not quite sure how she will carry the knife, my guess would be on the hip
 
AG Russel Makes ( or imports ) a realy cool small fixed blade called the woodswalker it's mostly handle with a good couple inches of blade and ideal for EDC IMO. Also it's cheap enough to boot.
 
get her a mora, great sharp knife she can use anywhere. cheap too! just buy her a new one if she needs to sharpen it.
