EDC Forums wait time

Hey all,
As you can see I don't post much, but I was just wondering if anyone has been waiting a VERY long time to be able to post on EDC Forums?
I signed up in November of 2014 and they are STILL vetting my account!?
Anyway, just found this extremely strange and wanted other people's thoughts.
 
I was a member there for a few years. Eventually I realized it was a store front forum for JSBurly. I left a year or two ago. Since then I've heard they don't allow outside links to EDC stuff from say... Amazon or any other website except the forum store. :rolleyes:

Consider it a blessing in disguise.
 
Yeah I suupose there is a lot of JS burly whatever stuff on there. However there is a lot of handmade goodies and info about different tools other than knives as well. I've always liked info on small shop titanium goods etc...
Obviously I'm in no real hurry I just found it extremely odd.
 
My information is only current as of two months ago, but EDCF had actually stopped accepting new members as of then, with no word on when they would start back up.

It would be nice if they could publish more information about what is going on, but it probably isn't any of my business.
