Okay so I'm looking into getting a new EDC knife, and would like some recommendations. I would like a blade around 3.75 inches - give or take - and a max weight of 4.5 oz. I usually get knives from quality manufactures like benchmade and spyderco. Thanks for the help!

Domino seems to be amazing choice. Don't own one yet. Will wait for a g-10 I think.

The Spyderco Starmate is a very well-balanced folder with a blade of VG-10 steel that's 3.75" long and 0.157" thick, skeletonized stainless steel liners, thin comfortable G10 handles and weighing just 4.9 ounces for so much blade!

The Benchmade 790 Subrosa is a real looker and although discontinued you may still find one. The blade is S30V that's 3.76" long and 0.125" thick with titanium handles and weighing just 3.8 ounces. It's not Axis lock but assisted titanium mono lock.

If you are on more of a budget, Rat-1 is just .5 oz heavier and it's one of my favorite knives (and I have had spydercos, benchmades, ZT's, etc).

The blade shape, and AUS-8 is great IMHO for an EDC. Easy to bring back to sharp if you strop it a couple times a week.
