Hi Guys,
Here's a version of my EDC model in Black.

Blade is 3 1/2" .188 thick O-1 tool steel. Blade was heat treated by me, and triple tempered. Full Tang construction with durable Black Oxide finish to prevent rust and protect the blade.

Total blade length including ricasso is a hair over 4". Unsharpened swedge on top.

Handle is sculpted maroon Micarta, and is 3 3/4". OAL is 8".
Has thumb notches and finger choil. Very comfortable grip on this knife. Very secure.

SS tube Pins, lanyard tube and wrist lanyard.

For a knife maker that just joined BF a couple of months and some years ago all your knife designs and new items like the groove handles have just made a vast improvement on the look and quality of your knives.

Scott's time in the Navy provides him with a strong tactical influence when designing.

That EDC should have your name on it, that's a trademark Scott for sure. :thumbup:

p.s I've been on BF for a few years. I just upgraded to Knifemaker in September, that's why that's the date in my info block.

I've learned a TON of stuff here over the years. The internet is so great, and so is this site. Thank you all for taking the time to share your experiences.

I really like this knife. I've contemplated keeping it. Its actually some of my best work. It just feels good in your hand. Not too big either to get a person in trouble. If it doesn't sell on ebay I'll probably just do that. Actually, the 3 day auction just started.
