Most recent knife; it fought me the entire way, but ended up really nice. I’m just mad that I forgot to take pictures of the sheath before I sent it away.

I’m curious to hear more about how it fought you the whole way. Is 1084 hard to work with in general? (I’m not a knife maker so that may be a dumb question.)

It probably would be more accurate to say I fought myself on this one the entire way :p. There were some deep pits from forging that took a long time to grind out; it warped during heat treat and took an extra temper cycle to straighten; I messed up when preparing the scales and drilled one hole the slightest bit off, so when glue up came there was a frantic 10 minutes until the pin finally went in. Overall I like how it turned out. And no, 1084 is a pretty easy steel to use.
