edc khurkri?

Closest I get, is that I made a kydex sheath for one that fits in the pocket of a jacket that I wear in the fall and winter. There's velcro in the jacket pocket, and I put some velcro tape on the kydex. Neat rig, stays put. Don't think I've actually used the bilton much though, as I always carry a pocket knife.

Welcome!

Steve

I carry a bilton EDC. I rigged paracord around the sheath for a belt loop.

Later I will make a kydex sheath.

The baby chitlangis, about the size of a bilton, work OK too.
Made by Dharan(?) don't see them much- small khuk with metal handle. Sharp, pretty, well made.

I used to EDC a bilton, but now I carry a customized SARGE as it is a little bit smaller and a lot more special to me. A more bilton-sized khukish thing that I carry is my HI kerambit. I take it on hikes or hide it in my jacket's breast pocket if i have to go through some place that is questionable. It rides well in its Dan Koster sheath.
However, my co-worker and buddy carries a bilton to work just about everyday. I got it for him as a groomsman gift at my wedding last year. It has one of those nickle-silver sheaths that looks good...but can make drawing the knive difficult, so on a slow day at work I fashioned him an ugly quick-draw sheath. He loves it:)

Thanks for the input! Will see how it works out. Will be making a Kadex sheath as soon as is shows up and will try it!

I carried a Sarge bilton for a while. Nice knife, but a little heavy and thick for me for an EDC, especially since I'm just an office guy. Heck, I even carried an HI Kerambit as an edc for a while after Tom Krein made me a kydex sheath for it!

Generally, just carry a Spyderco Calypso Jr, or a SAK Bantam Alox. They don't touch my soul, but they are lighter, sharper (i know, but i'm just not that great at sharpening) and more suited to light edc stuff.

I had Vadim Grynko make these for me. I love them. The KK is a bit big for EDC, but the baby Chit is dynamite. It's shaving sharp too.

Edit: I'll fix the pic after work.

Anyone ever try an IWB for one of those Biltons of baby Chit's?? I was thinking about doing one and havent gotten to it...A kydex IWB for the Chit or Bilton would be just about right for a EDC Khuk

ME?? I am thinking of a way to EDC a 20" Chiruwa AK!! :)

Just saw this thread and am reminded of the fact that I have a kydex sheath for a kerambit that is free for the taking. If anybody wants it...shoot me an email.

If it's not a "perfect fit" for yours...no worries...just pass a hair-dryer over it for about 15-20 seconds and you can heat-form it to your exact shape. Be sure to only heat the part you want changed. Otherwise...I've tried it on several kerambits and it fit them all fine.

oops...!

the sheath above was taken pretty quick...forgot to update the thread. My apologies. How about a $10 discount if you order one?

Thanks!
