EDC Knife ... for November...

Hello all,

I was thinking what Buck knife did everyone use for there EDC (every day carry) knife for the month of November...

I think i'll ask this question at the end every month to see who is useing a different Buck Knife... Plus it's gives us all a chance
to use a Buck Knife we might not think we even like or just always wanted to try one of the knives in are collection...
Who knows, we may end up liking it or not liking it... Let us all know if you liked or didn't like the Buck you used for November...

Here's my EDC knife for November... This month I used a China Buck knife a 373 sideway T... I bought it at the swap meet for $3 last month and wanted to try it out for a month... Well, it's a nice little Buck and I like it... I'm going to get me a few more different models now...

What did you use... ITE

ITE, this new 301 got the majority of the pocket time this month, well over 50%. This is a hell for stout stockman - it has the thickest blades of any stockman I own, and holds quite an edge - only touched it up once all month. Now I'm looking for another Buck; the 303 model with yellow handles. OH

I carried this 307 in November. It was well used when I got it and that's good, because I plan to use it. I have used it a lot actually. I like it just a bit better than the 301. Too bad the 307 won't be coming back. It's a great one. Next month I'm going to carry a 371 and try that out.

Well Armand,

I tried to get into this thing but it just didn't work for me. I decided to try a 55 as an edc but it only lasted a couple of days. I went right back to the 301.

The 301's just work the best for me so I'll stick with them. :)

Still the Bucklite 424, naked without it, this wet month of November. Shown here with the contents of my pant's pockets.

In between storms a walk in the wetlands: Mushrooms on a tree near then far, Great Blue Heron near then far.

Oregon, nice pictures... cool pic of the Mushrooms... That big bird looks cold...

You should do a thread on what's in your pant's pockets today...

Lots of 300s this month...

Not for me. I carried a Buck Custom Shop 110 with smooth buffalo scales and s30v blade most of November....although I admit to carrying a 311 the last couple days and have really enjoyed the slim, sharp, almost surgical blade of that one. The 311 will spend a lot more time as an EDC for me in the future. :)

Pdave, I hear you... I like my 422 the best... :) ... The 501 is nice to, so far... ... I'm just trying to use a different Buck each month to see if I like them or not... The ones I don't like I will trade away someday...

Adio, the 471, is that a fixed blade and how do you like it...

Yep, it's an old fixed blade that I got years ago. I started carrying it mainly at work as an armed guard. I saw the Ka-bar TDI knives & liked the idea behind them, but couldn't find a comfortable way to carry it. I first tried the 471 up front horizontally along my belt. It was comfortable & very quick to draw, but stood out in a bad way. Eventually I started carrying @ 8:00 just ahead of my flashlight & spare mag. The plastic sheath tucks into my back pocket & the nylon loop lets it move with me. I liked the knife enough to get another :)

Well I continue to waffle back and forth between the 847 and my 2 dot 110. However, the last week of November had my 415 Kallinga camo on my belt for the first week of deer.

I got a camoflauge Bantam from a friend. I love this little knife. I usually carry larger knives, but this thing is awesome, especially considering what they go for. Just a good, light, solid folder. Goes in my pocket with my keys and I forget it is there. I am going to get the larger version with the clip just because I like the small one so much. It may become my hiking folder. We shall soon see.
