EDC Knife

wow, tough choice.., I'd love to say both! lol!

I've EDC'd both of them quite a bit and it seems that the Izula is usually the one I end up slipping on the belt more often mainly because of it being more comfortable to carry. Due to it's smaller size and lack of handle scales it tends to rub less than the RC-3.., maybe I just need to lose a lil' weight! lol
 
I edc'd the RC3 for about a year then I switched to the Izula and have not looked back , Smaller size and close to the same performance to meet my daily needs at work ,IMO the Izula beats out the RC3 as a preferred edc.
 
Depends on how you carry it! I EDC my RC-3 on my backpack, so the weight isn't an issue. Likewise the handle width. The Izula would be easier to slip into a pocket however.
 
For EDC I'd go with the Izula, mostly because I like to EDC a fixed blade with pocket carry. The Izula works great for that, the RC3, not so much.
 
I have been taking the Izula everywhere for a month or so.

Used to carry a RC3 on the belt fairly often, but I cant figure out a good way to attach the izula to my belt. (Not a fan of the MOLLE clips.)

It rides in the pocket, with the sheath clipped to a belt loop. Very nice.


So, I dont know. If you prefer belt carry...I'd go RC3. Pocket? Izula. Both have handled all that I can throw at them.
 
I live in Ohio so no concealed fixed blade carry. So it needs to be on a sheath. I 'm looking for a knife that won't be too large that everyone notices it.
So I'm still trying to figure out which one.
Can the RC3 be worn as a neck knife?
 
I love my Izula and carry it often very comfortable as a neck knife or belt/pocket carry. I dont have a RC3 so i cant comment on that. My RC4 stays on my backpack so it dont get carried as often.
 
And just for yalls FYI, The KA BAR TDI clip fits of the RC3's sheath (at least, I've seen a picture with one on it). I dunno how it would feel, but my Becker BK11 with the clip makes a fantastic IWB EDC blade.
 
I think what I would do is get the Izula, I just bought one yesterday! :) I think it works better as an EDC in the long run because of it's smaller size, or thinner really.
 
Izula works well foran EDC, having EDC'd them both, I can't go back to my RC3 (Or my RAT-3 for that matter). Next to my Gossman PSK, the Izula is my favorite EDC fixed blade.
 
Okay, that settles it. As soon as I get enough money I'll by the izula kit. Question is, which color. I know, however, I'll buy directly from RAT cutlery.

You could buy both, try them both out, find out wich one you like most, then send that knife to me. You'd still hate your life and nobody would really blame you, but at least you helped a good cause.:D And your up one knife!
Ain't I a genious( grammar aside).
