I’m looking for a knife to EDC in a saltwater environment. Something less than $200 and 3”-3.5”. I had A few Benchmade sin D2 and just being near the water they started to rust very quickly.

Spyderco has a line of knives in H1 or lc200n. If going for plain edge, I'd go for one in lc200n, if serrated H1 is really good.

Benchmade H2O Griptilian in N680 steel since you appear to like the Grips. I believe it is discontinued but there are some out there still. I saw one the other day from a retailer for $119.

Or Anything from the Salt line.

Boye Knives; what Spyderco wants to be when it meets salt water.

Boye knives are made from a cobalt alloy, which cannot rust.

Spyderco salt series is H1 which is extremely corrosion resistant.

Any Titanium blade would work as well.
