The knife is deceptive (to give it a one-word adjective).

The faceted flats give it a sense of angles and straight lines, yet there isn't a flat or straight surface on the knife.

Once again, Tai, brilliance in the 'simplicity'.

I really really love this piece and that bold temper line and graining

That sheath is 1/2 the fun!

Brings out a whole new level to appreciate, nice blend of style. Great outfit!

I like it too. It´s the one I like the most amongst the last works from Tai. I would choose another sheath style though, one that goes better with the simple looks of the knife. I do love Chuck´s sheaths, but I guess this one called for something cleaner in the looks.

Personally, I think that's a really cool juxtaposition....the wabi-sabi of Tai's knife with the free-wheeling old-time style of Chuck's sheath. Each separately beautiful on their own and a study in antitheses when paired.

Or so I've heard. :D
