EDC perfection visualized...

Man, I just got my first Lego SNG and it may be one of my end-all-be-all edc knives. The only reason I could see to get rid of it would be to get a DGG. That's a beauty you got there.

Perfection in an EDC for me involves the blade being fixed, and no Titanium.

However that is very sweet looking, and sturdy from what I hear.

Man, I would love to have that blade-steel. I have a SMF in DGG...it's really surprising just how light the knife is, and yet you could tear down a house with it. I suspect the DGG could be rough on bare hands if you are really working it. It's great for cops who wear gloves. I have also read that DGG may be rough on your pockets, but I don't carry mine so I do NOT know.
Any way you look at it, you have a "lifetime" knife. I'm jealous. Don't EVER sell it. :)

now if they'd only put one out in FFG! or bring that hollow all the way up and i'd be very happy

It's beautiful for sure, and a great steel to boot. I sold the DGG SNG I had though because the handle just felt too flimsy to me. I'm not knocking Strider at all don't get me wrong. The knife is solid, but I could easily compress the scales by putting a light squeeze on them. Doesn't hurt performance and I love that it makes for a light knife for its size, I just prefer a more rigid handle.

I don't think I've seen any Striders at the 500ish price with the more "advanced" or elaborate blade grinds -- are there any out there, or are they only available on the customs?

I do not think there is anything "advanced" about a compound grind. Mick does the compound grinds on his customs.
