I have a small organizer pouch which I use to keep my edc items sorted. It contains a very basic first aid kit,pen and notepad, cheap flashlight,SAK deluxe tinker and a Buck Canoe.Outside of this i also carry a higher quality knife, mostly a Spyderco, A leatherman and a 4sevens Preon 2.I'd like my edc bag to be self-reliant.Which means,It needs a locking knife!

I don't want anything too expensive as most likely I will have a Spyderco on me.I would also like it to be small, closed length no longer than 6" (Which I admit is quite big)

So far I am looking at these:

Kershaw Chill - decent steel, flipper design=fun!!,good grip handle,OK blade shape

Byrd Meadowlark2 - same steel as the chill, nice g-10 handle/FRN both look good, slightly better blade shape, full flat grind

Boker Wharcom - small size, decent steel, full flat grind, useful blade tip,not too intimidating, Handle seems OK

Boker Subcom F - same as above, except more belly in the blade, slightly less acute point.

Which of these is the better choice? thanks :D

I'de get an Izula and throw it in there if you're allowed to carry concealed fixed blade. It measures 7" inside of the sheath it comes with, 6 and a quarter overall. Out of your choices I would pick the Meadowlark just because I have one and I like it.

Something like the izula isnt really what I'm looking for.It needs to be a folder as a pocket clip is needed to hold it in its compartment and have a slim profile.
