EDC Problems......

I just recieved my EDC this afternoon and I am very impressed w/ the knife. However, while trying to tune the knife, I stripped the pivot screw.

I was able to tighten it, but not tight so as it would stop wiggling. So, I took it out and I removed the black rubber washer from under it. I tightened up the pivot and it makes the knife lock up perfectly w/o any problems. Will this adversely affect the knife, that I don't have the black rubber washer in it? I am trying to contact Camillus to see if they will send me another screw. Anyone have any imput?

I know. I was very impressed. Esp. when the post was 5 min. after I posted the topic! I just emailed Mr. Fennell my number and I know that everything will be taken care of. I know that I will be a repeat customer.

Will is a class act. And Darrel has been pretty helpful too in answering my pesky questions about tuning my EDC. I've got it about where I want it thanks to them. Nobody's perfect, but nobody ought to fear lack of support in buying one of these knives.
