I'm doing a small run of "EDC Prototypes," this model still needs a name. :D I just cut and hand ground these out of 1/8" and 3/16" O1 Steel. Three of them are for orders and the other 3 in 3/16" will be up for sale here in a week or so.

That's it! I'm no longer going to frequent this forum!! Too damn expensive:D

Nice design, anxious to see them done. Green/yellow micarta? I think I could sneak a Green Bay Packer knife in the house!!

I really like mine. It surprised me how light it was when I got it. You forget you are wearing it, but
it is a very handy size for most any task. Hay, maybe that's an idea for the name: EDC Tasker.
What do you think?

The 1/8" ones are extremely light for such a large knife and the 3/16" ones aren't too bad either. They get drilled out a fair bit to keep them light and balanced.

I really like the name but unfortunately it is taken, it's tough finding good names these days!

I just quenched all 6 of them and will get them back in the oven for a double temper soon.

The three for sale in 3/16" steel will get a trifecta of camo :D , 3 color MCAM (my all time favorite!), and 2 new 3 color camos I just found, OD green/forest green/jade green and black/grey/coyote brown.

Really,REALLY hope this is the EDC knife you had emailed me about....freakinLove it.

Any chance you'll make a run of 3" blade & 4.5" handles? for those areas w/ blade length restrictions....not a problem here, but need one for an upcoming GAW....

That sounds like a great idea! This run has 4.5" blades but this style and a 3" blade sounds like a great plan.

My Ti necker (same style) is 6" long with about 3" of blade but it is more of a 3 finger handle.

EXCELLENT! So far: no neckers & no Ti in the GAW! and I KNOW how well you do Ti......
Email me: how much?

Lol I'm trying to be conservative! It is a chisel though... You've got me thinking and I'll probably have 3 new models designed by the end of the day if I keep at it. :D

OK... for real this time... back to the shop. After I email Gnarly. :D :D :D

Man, if I didn't know better I'd swear that was my knife in the photos. Great work Daniel.
