What do you guys prefer for an everyday carry knife. I am looking at the TiSpine and the SR-2, already owned a TiSpine but sold it when I needed some funds and always regretted it. So for those of you that have both which is your favorite and why.

I prefer the SR2, as I think it's a bit more stout while being compact at the same time.

I should add I've never had the TiSpine, though.

While I don't own both, I have handled the Tispine a few times at Bladehq. The things that I did not prefer regarding the TiSpine versus the SR2 are:
1. The blade opening hole that is oval/rectangular doesn't allow for a fast opening. While this may not be a concern considering you had one previously, I prefer the thumbstuds on the SR2.
2. Personal Preference, but I always prefer a stainless steel lock interface to just titanium.

The nice thing about the TiSpine is that it's lighter, more compact than the Sr2.

So as you can tell I own and prefer the SR2, with that being said; the aluminum version TiSpine is due out later this year and I'll happily add that to the stables providing it has a stainless steel lock interface (which it has to have considering the Aluminum) and a lower price point.

If you're looking for a slim, thin and narrow profile you'd be looking at TiSpine. Also, it's a better slicer due to thinner blade. The real bargain is the SR-2 Aluminum.

Thanks for the input guys. Still up in the air on this one?

I know which ever I get will be titanium, I've got a fetish:D

I think that if youre doing more delicate work then you could go with the TI-Spine, but if you need a little more with your EDC for tougher stuff then I would go with the SR-2.

Happy camper again!

I never noticed they used that cool roto style for the pivot as well. Gives it a custom look for sure.
