Hi,
Once again I need our input :)
I decided to get another EDC.
Requirements would be:

Folder
Blade size: 2.5” – 2.95” (state law)
good lock
Price not more than 50$

That’s it :)
(I do have Camillus EDC, CRKT mirage, KISS, point guard, Kershaw vapor and scallion. I like EDC bust but others have they way into my daily use too.)

so, what I could add to the list ?

How about a Spyderco FRN Dragonfly? Its' AUS-8 blade is 2&5/16th long. There is also the Spydero Salsa, but I believe that it's pretty much beyond your $50 price limit...

As Dann said try the Dragonfly. My fave version is the FRN SE. I think it's the most perfect IWB knife. The steel cuts like crazy and is easily sharpened.

The other on is a CRKT S3 2.5". ATS 34 steel, titanium handles...and I think if you look around hard enough it can be had for much less that 50. Can't do a whole lot better than that...

Here you go: Delica FRN.
Your search is over.
:p
The blade of the Delica is 3 inches, and he needs the blade to be under 3 inches. I guess he COULD buy a Delica, and then break-off an 1/8th inch off the tip to make it legal for him to carry.:D.

How about a Leek?

MamBo.., I'd get a Camillus EDC in 154 CM, or D2 if I were you.

Shapren it a few times and it's slightly under 3 inches.. :) Great knife..., and doable for $50.00.

Actually, Salsa's can be had for under $60.00 from web dealers. Ruff's Saddle Shop has them for $57.00 and some change IIRC.
A Salsa might just be the ticket for you. Great little knives for the $$.

Another to consider is the SOG Stingray. It seems to run about $55 average, but has been discontinued, so you might be able to find a deal somewhere.

I am odering a SOG Flash. It has a pocket clip made that makes it sheathly, and it is damn near a swithblade. What more could you ask for.

So, currently the list is:

Assisted:
SOG Flash
Kershaw Leek

Manual:
Spyderco FRN Dragonfly
Spyderco Delica II FRN
Spyderco Salsa (about 60$)
Spyderco calypso jr's
SOG Stingray (about 60$)
CRKT Contrail

Any other candidates ?

I agree with the Calypso Jr., but I think the older one, with micarta handles, is a nicer knife than the FRN one.
They both cut like crazy.

Good luck,
Allen.
