EDC Recomendations

Hey Everyone,

I would like an EDC knife with a blade under 4 inches but don't care if it is a little longer. The steal needs to be M390 or what you think is something similar to it or the equivalent of it. I don't care about the locking mechanism or handle material and I would even like a small fixed blade in this steel. Any recomendations out there?

Benchmade 710 in M390.
Or if you want a smaller folder the Benchmade 755 MPR in M390 works too.

I also hear M4 is a great steel. You could get a Benchmade 810 Contego or the very well loved Spyderco Gayle Bradley.

I know, just wanted to see if there were other knives similar that weren't the ones named last time.

To tell you the truth, there aren't. M390 and its equivalents (cts-204p) are not common steels. They are usually reserved for limited runs. You might consider waiting until later this fall for the spyderco brad southard collaboration flipper with cts-204p. It will run around $250.

For future reference, starting 2 identical threads in 2 days isn't exactly the way to go about getting an answer on these forums, it just adds to the clutter. Your first thread gave you all the answers you need and covered just about every option you had in m390. If there were other options, they would have been posted in your first thread. This thread is redundant and the answers you will receive will likely be the same. /end.rant
