So...how do you all work your EDC rotation and how many knives are in your rotation? Do you carry the same knife all week or do you switch out every day? I usually try to carry the same knife all week unless I get a package in the mail like I did yesterday.

Some things I rotate, some I don't. I always have a medium stockman on me. I also prefer to carry a medium fixed blade, but as a college student, I have to deal with legality issue on class days (no fixed blades on campus :grumpy: ). When I can't have the fixed blade, I have a random rotation that usually consists of a budget beater Kershaw. Finally, I alternate between a Leatherman Blast, a Victorinox Huntsman, and a Vic. Fieldmaster. Which of those I carry really just depends on how much weight/bulk I feel like toting that morning.

Congrats on the new steel, by the way.

I carry a new knife everyday. I like variety. This also keeps the knives from getting worn out. Some I might carry more than others but for the most part is a new knife everday. I have this spyderpac hanging in my closet so i can see all my knives and decide which one to carry that day. Keeps them organized and protects them from scratches. Ironically I only own 2 Spyderco's, the Spyderpac is full of Kershaw!

I like to carry what I feel like. No rules or rhyme. Often it will match my attire, work clothes 0301 and 0100. Nice jeans or slacks, 0550blk or 1670CFGRN154. Often double up with a leek or bump.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one and not the first to admit that matches there knife to their clothes! Lol

I carry one knife for months on end and rotate my secondary every week.
That way I don't get burnt out on 1 opening/locking style.

I have about 6 knives for EDC consideration. I don't rotate, I just choose what's most suitable for the days activites.

two leeks, one serrated, one plain, then a CB leek... and a junk yard dog II, plus a storm and a vapor III

I'll usually carry a new knife for a few days but eventually the 0560 winds up back in my pocket.

I also have a Spyderpac full of Kershaws as well.

I usually carry 2 knives - a SAK and a modern folder. SAK hasn't changed in a long while (Vic Super Tinker). The modern folder is just whatever I grab in the morning. Normally, that's a random selection from: Leek, Skyline, Delica, Mini-Grip. Recently (past few weeks), I've been carrying my 0550 while deciding if it makes it into the regular rotation or not.

As I get new knives, I try them out to see if they make it into the main rotation (currently the Leek, Skyline, Delica, Mini-Grip). If it makes the cut (no pun intended), it joins the others (sometimes replacing instead of joining) for random selection for EDC. I do occasionally revisit the others in my collection, so they do still see some pocket time. So far, though, none have made it back to the starting lineup.

I usually carry the same knife because it iis under 4" closed and is comfortable in my front pocket. If I am working on a project I rotate some of my bigger folders.

I carry a new knife everyday.

Unfortunately I have just over 370 and I will never see the same one till a year later.

I depends on what I am doing. Usually Carry The Same knife every 3-4 days.. More then often its my ZT0551, Tilt or Blur

Being comfortable means you are not pushing yourself, fit more knives in that pocket!

Usually I carry three knives:
1. Cut anything knife
2. Clean knife. To cut food:snack, lunch
3. Small gents knife: if I need to cut something in front of people, who can be easy scared or who I do not know.
I stick to knives I love and change them very seldom, only if I found the knife, which I love more. I carry my Spyderco Persian for more than six years. It used to be my "cut everything". Now it is "clean" knife. It is pretty much beaten-up, but I still love it. Couple knives attempted to replace it without success. My second knife was replaced fairly recently: 2-3 month ago. Gent knives: currently two of the in rotation. One of them I carry for about five years, second about six month.
