I knew there was a reason I carried all that crap and a knife.

Love the car, and dig the vids. Hope that was Gorilla tape, cause thats what all of the cool dudes are rockin'.

It is always a good feeling when you are in a pinch and a piece of your EDC comes to save the day! Honestly though you could have all the kit in the world, but if you do not have any common sense, ingenuity, and problem solving abilities you are still SOL. You evidently have all three.

I think you are pretty proud of your hooptie! Some of the best vehicles out there are the ones that have a little love on them... one of my work trucks is pretty much at 400,000 miles, 2500 chevy diesel ... Runs better than the brand new 2012's we have... lol

Grab the window with both hands, one outside and inside pressing in the same spot and wiggle it... it will go up.

I don't carry any duct tape but I always carry a multitool. On 2 separate occasions I've been out in the middle of nowhere at night and used my multitool to fix our vehicle so we could drive back to town.

I keep a roll of Gorilla tape in my PD cruiser at all times.

Can't begin to tell you how many cars I have repaired with it. It is probably a number approaching three digits.

Also, nothing better for a knocked down stop sign or other road sign than some Gorilla tape and some 550 cord. We have to sit at stop signs and direct traffic until the road crew gets there to repair it. 9 times out of 10 I can tape the sign back in place and tie it off with 550 and go sit in the car rather than stand in the middle of the intersection in the cold or pouring rain.

Last week I fixed a lady's car on the interstate with some duct tape and a can of snuff I found on the side of the highway. Her radiator reservoir cap had come off and was nowhere to be found. I carry a gallon of water in the trunk too and in no time had her back on the road headed to an Autozone to get fixed up.

Good job Officer MacGyver!
