EDC - Spyderco Persistence vs. Tenacious vs. other?

The first knife I purchased was a Sanrenmu 707 with G10 scales. After looking around a little bit, I found out that this company makes the CRKT Drifter, which essentially is the exact same knife as the one I bought.

However, I am looking into buying a new knife, and a friend of mine introduced me to Spyderco. However, I want a knife that does not break the bank, and is highly recommended by other EDC'ers. I searched around and found the Spyderco Persistence and the Tenacious.

Which one of these knifes would you guys recommend, and why? Please tell out from personal experience if possible. I know the Persistence is a little smaller than the Tenacious, but I do not know by how much. I have never held any of these knives either, so I do not know how big/small any of these are, or how heavy/light they are compared to the Drifter f. ex. If you would recommend any other knives, that is ok too. I have recently entered the world of blades, and am kind of new to the game.

Since they are essentially the same knife, I can not recommend one over the other, it is simply based on what size you think you will need. both have a solid feel in hand and a quality that is higher than their price. I prefer the extra length of the tenacious, but I am more likely to recommend the persistence to people who might not be comfortable carrying knives in that size.

You basically just asked what shoes would be better for you, the Nike SB in size ten, or the Nike SB in size eleven... It's hard to say, considering I don't know what size you wear.
 
The Tenacious is a great intro to EDC. I found the Persistence too small when I tried a friend's. Although my Tenacious has been gradually kicked out of my pocket by a Delica (which sounds silly because the Delica is smaller as well but a different design) it's still a great budget knife.
 
I like my Resilience. It is a little over 4", how ever feels great in hand, and very light for it's size.
 
Get two Tenaci and make one boss level tenacious...

Get both and sell the one you dont like... I prefer the Persistence.

I had both blue sprint runs of the tenacious and persistence. I traded the tenacious although I definitely preferred the size of that one. They recently made a rule at work no blades 3 inches or over, so the persistence is my go-to knife for work. I've never owned a knife that small before. I think you'll like the size of the tenacious much better, but if you have to work with rules like I do at my job, then the persistence will get the job done.
