I'm looking for a new folder to add to my collection that costs around $30. Any suggestions?
I currently have a Spyderco Tenacious, Spyderco Delica 4, Buck Vantage Avid, Kershaw Leek, and a Cold Steel Voyager.
Thanks! :D

I think if you are open to looking around a little you may be able to find either a Kershaw Whirlwind or a Kershaw Blackout. Maybe even Kershaw Mini cyclone. CRKT might have a KojiHaraIchi too

Kershaw JYD 1720. Just got one (it's my first real knife). Nicely fits in my pocket, not too heavy and feels realy strong.

Kershaw Skyline, definitely. It has the same excellent steel as the Leek, but with a more durable blade geometry and lighter, grippier scales. The fact that it is a flipper but not assisted means it is legal to carry in more jurisdictions than the leek as well.

I have a Benchmade Pika II that just came in the mail for 17.00 plus shipping and its the best seventeen dollars I have ever spent. Plus Kershaw Storm for 19.00 and its USA made. Cant beat those two for the price. Both are durable knives and great cutters with a tight lock up. There in my EDC rotation along with my Buck Vantage Select and Spyderco Native. All but the Native were under 20 bucks. Great knives for the money.

Skyline, Persistence, Tenacious. All three are good, inexpensive blades. The Skyline being the lightest of the three and also has the better steel (IMO). But, the build on the Persistence and Tenacious feels more solid than that of the Skyline. I give the slight edge to the Per. and Ten., but that's because I'm partial to FFG blades and the Spyder hole.

Kershaw Skyline, Ka-Bar Dozier, Ontario RAT, Byrd Cara Cara, and if you can find it Buck 110.

Ka-Bar Dozier Folders are worth looking at

Agreed. Here's one of them...

Any of the Byrd line. I like the Flight.
Any of the Kabar Doziers. I particularly like the Large Dozier.

Considering the knives you already have and your price limit, I'd go with a Case sodbuster Jr. in CV steel no doubt.

If you are open to something a bit different than the ones you already own (pocket clip, one handed openers), why not try a Buck 110?

I never even considered one until after I found my Vantage Pro so nice. Prior to the 110 all my knives were so similar it was hard to justify buying yet another. If you are going to stay in that price range I'd consider getting this classic.

The nylon sheath version you may find at a local store is very easy to carry. I still carry the clip knives but often I find myself with the 110 now, usually on weekends.
