EDC Tanto?

Sucks I just sent off some cash for a Strider GB. Hopefully EDC will do another run of these & I'll have the cash.

It is the I&I Tanto. What the hell does I&I mean? :)
 
I&I is (was?) a large sporting goods store in LA cal ernie had some sort of deal with to make the tantos for, at one time, IIRC they sell mostly rock climbing stuff.

the I&I is a great one, i have a PE in LNIB shape and a user CE, when i 1st got them i figured they were the same as the BM 975, i found out they were in fact quite different, the handle is totally different for one, but i like it better than the 975.

i swapped a used spyderco ti lum folder for the LNIB PE one which was one of my better deals lol, i suppose the lum is worth more now but it was a user vs the I&I is selling for 3X or 4X what it was selling for,

also, i had heard tell they were gonna make a run of them i didnt know it was for edc though, who are they lol?
 
Like the New Logo on the other side. Sweet Knife. I really DO NOT Like the older cheaper EDC knives. with FRN. and thumb hole. Look and feel cheap.
 
you are thinking of the Emerson Hard Wear series which is a completely different series of knives. They were made in Japan, this one is Made in the U.S. and is modeled after the I&I tanto that EKI did years back
 
These guys have them on ebay. I was all set to pull the trigger and then noticed the handle shape, to much like the A100 to me and no swedge. For a .25" greater blade length than the 7 I'll stick with the 7. Especially the 99 I just PICKED UP! How ya like me know. Ha keepem sharp
