I'am in a process of purchasing Large UG Damascus Sebenza, for EDC.Just wanted to see if anyone also uses theirs.Been thinking for a while, because they are very nice looking blades. Please chime in with pics too so I will not feel so guilty after all ;).Thanks all.

Not a UG, but I just bought a Plain Jane large 21 Ladder Damascus from Techno that is going right into my pocket to bump my Large 21 Micarta Insingo out as soon as I get it tomorrow. Heck, I might just carry both.:)

Mine is also not a UG, but rather a Plain Jane Large 21 Basketweave. I've carried it every day, save for a couple, over the last few months, and the blade still looks new. The handles show the usual light snail trails. CRK Damascus makes for a great EDC blade, IMO. I used it the last couple of days to cut and strip a bunch of RJ-11 cable to prep for making short cables, as the available wire strippers were too finicky to use on the flat cable. Within a few minutes on the fine side of a Spyderco DoubleStuff, the edge was as sharp as before.

I would strongly recommend that you go for it!

I need to figure out a way to comfortably carry both my Basketweave Sebenza and Umnumzaan much the same. Two CRK's would make for a good day.

Not exactly an EDC, but I do carry and use this one on occasion. The blade takes a super keen edge and holds up just as well as the regular stainless blades.

Here's my present edc. Apart from the etch fading a bit near the stud it's holding up just fine.
